Heartland Church seeks a Children’s Director to develop a vision in sync with our Heartland vision, and implement that into all of our kids activities. Our kids programs include children from infants to grade six. The right candidate will work well with our leaders and staff to set policies and procedures, ensuring a “safe place” for our children, and will mentor and train our volunteers to achieve the Children’s ministry vision.
Our Children’s Director will need to foster meaningful relationships with children and their parents, and create settings both will love. It is essential that there be an atmosphere which will enable God’s word to be effectively taught in engaging and age-appropriate ways in order to help our children grow their relationship in Jesus Christ.
This job will be part time, approximately 16-20 hours per week and will start as early as January 1, 2013. Heartland’s office and brand new worship facility are located in Lexington, Ohio area.
