We are seeking volunteers to become part of the Church Planting Team of Shekinah Glory Worship Center in Watertown, MA. We desire to build a group of diversely gifted servants working together to extend the kingdom of God by developing and implementing strategies to make disciples, build community, and develop ministry teams so that the church is glorying to God. A church planting team does not refer solely to the development of a paid staff as a team.
We are seeking people with the following abilities:
• Problem-Solving Ability—people who are good at working under uncertainty and have strong problem identification and solving skills.
• Availability—Jesus selection of the 12 apostles was not because they were the most skilled, learned, or talented, but because they were available and willing to serve.
•Credibility--The credibility of building a successful launch team enhanced by the reputation of the people involved, “winners” lends confidence to the launch of the church.
•Connections or Favor—individuals who already have a good working relationship with key gatekeepers or people in the community or others that can assist in launching the church. “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved” (Acts 2:47).
•Initiative and Energy. These qualities can make up for many short- comings in other areas and is not underestimated.
We are currently not in a position to provide any financial compensation for those wanting to be a part of the team, but God is able to provide all yours needs from His riches in glory. For this reason, we are looking for local people with a desire to serve God and build for the kingdom.
