REQUIREMENTS: The man or woman applying for this position should have a clear call of God on their life to minister to youth. They should be spiritually mature, creative in communication, and have the ability to teach and disciple those from age 12-18. No formal Bible school/ministry training is required.
DESCRIPTION: We are a rural ministry with 2 locations looking for someone to take over our youth ministry. Our first location is an established church started 11 years ago in a town of approximately 280 people. The youth group is growing and vibrant with about 15 regular attenders that are hungry for God! Our second location is a new church plant started in September of 2012 with no current youth ministry. The town has a population of about 670 people with plenty of youth that need Jesus. The youth pastor would be responsible for starting a youth ministry in our second location, while continuing to grow our existing youth ministry at our first location.
At the moment we are only able to afford a part time youth minister, however this could very easily turn into a full time position within a year or so. Please contact us and let us discuss what compensation options are available.
