We are fervently looking for that man of God who is led by the Holy Spirit and ready to step out in extreme faith. This position is a missional position... we are planting a church. This, along with all the other positions (including the senior pastors), is a non-paid position for at least the first year or two.
We are still looking for a Youth Leader to lead our kids!!
The Rock Fellowship Church is new Non-denominational church plant with designs of serving the Southern Oregon Coastal region between Brookings and Gold Beach, OR.
REQUIREMENTS:
We are searching for a Youth Leader who is fully led by the Holy Spirit and fully devoted to God, and able to be diverse in leading the youth/children. This Youth Leader would be building the Youth Ministry from scratch... from the ground up! They would be the "architect" so to speak, of the model of it.
There is a great number of unchurched youth on the Southern Oregon Coast that need to be reached for Christ. We desire a Youth Leader who's heart is devoted to reaching the Youth and giving them "something different."
He must be bi-vocational or able to raise his own funds for what we are anticipating to be at least 1-2 years. Whether you are married and working as a team, or single and ready to serve and recruit others.... we are looking for who God desires for this position! This position will take a very special individual who can start from scratch and build a new youth ministry upon a strong Christ-centered foundation.
Our Youth Leader will oversee all aspects of the Youth Ministry under the guidance and leadership of our senior pastors... working along side of them and sharing in the vision of the church, as well as the work of launching a new start up church.
PLEASE NOTE: We are seeking someone who will be dedicated to being a Youth Leader for a minimum of 2 years. The reason for this is... it is too hard on the kids when they confide in, trust in, love and become a part of their Youth Leader's life, only to have him change his mind and leave. PLEASE pray and be sure that this is a commitment you feel you can truly make.
He must share the vision and core values of the church, be able to adapt to and tolerate a "new beginnings" environment, along with all the changes, decisions, and so-forth that come along with building a new church.
